Carolyn Staut's Flag Draped Barn Takes First Place!



"The Art of Being American", A Focus on American Patriotism, at the South Texas Institute for the Arts recently awarded Carolyn Staut 1st place in their Gala Photography contest. "Capturing images of this country's renewed spirit of patriotism is the vision for a regional art contest. This contest is seeking to recognize outstanding works of photography using the United States flag in ways that depict patriotism for our country." The contest was open to photographers of any age, both professional and amateur, living within a 90-mile radius of Corpus Christi, TX.
